The scan is free and always will be. If you would rather not spend a weekend in the bulk editor, this is what it costs to have someone do it.
Sydney based. Fixed price, agreed before anything starts.
Across 877 Australian stores we scanned, 85% had products still live on the site and completely sold out. The median store had 24 of them. The worst had 1,932. Separately, 31% were displaying at least one 'was' price that sits below the price they are actually charging, the worst of them on 1395 products.

Built for people who pitch retainers and want something real to open with.
The ACCC lists "promoting a price as being a sale or special price, when it is actually the normal price" among its examples of misleading price displays, and states that businesses must not display prices that are wrong or likely to create a false impression. It also notes that where an item sits at a sale price for an extended period, it may be misleading to keep calling it a sale, because the price has effectively become the normal one.
In June 2026 a Melbourne online retailer paid $79,200 after the ACCC issued four infringement notices over strikethrough pricing and returns policy statements. The ACCC notes that paying an infringement notice is not an admission of a contravention.
None of that is a legal opinion about your store, and this is not legal advice. What we do is show you which of your price displays currently read incorrectly, fix them, and write down what changed. If your situation is genuinely arguable, that is a conversation for a lawyer and we will say so.

Bank transfer to an Australian account, against a numbered invoice with my ABN on it. Half up front, half when the work is delivered. Seven day terms. No card details, no payment portal, no subscription you have to remember to cancel.
There is no GST on the invoice, because DeadSKU is under the $75,000 turnover threshold and is not registered for it. If that changes you will see it itemised, and the price on this page will change with it rather than quietly gaining 10%.
The deposit is refundable until I start. If you change your mind before I have touched anything, say so and it comes straight back.
If the finished work does not match what this page describes, I fix it or refund the balance. That is a narrow promise on purpose. I am not promising your revenue will go up, because nobody can honestly promise that. I am promising the specific, countable thing you paid for: the pages listed get handled, and the follow-up scan proves it.
Nothing is deleted without your say-so. Every product marked for unpublishing or redirecting is confirmed with you first, product by product. If you later disagree with a call, the before scan means it can be put back.
Sometimes the answer is do nothing. Keeping a sold-out product live is a legitimate choice. Seasonal lines come back, restock alerts collect emails, and the page may hold a ranking worth keeping. I will tell you which of yours fall into that category rather than deleting them for the sake of a tidier number.
A comparison price equal to the selling price is not a problem. Most themes render nothing for it. Plenty of scanners will count it against you anyway to make the number look worse. We count it separately and we do not charge to fix it.
If your store is basically fine, I will say so and not invoice you. Plenty of the stores we scanned scored in the nineties. Running the numbers first is exactly so neither of us wastes the time.
I cannot promise a revenue lift. Anyone who does is guessing. What I can tell you is precisely how many pages are broken now and how many are broken after, because both are measurable.
You should not have to take my word for what lands in your inbox. Here is an actual report, generated from an actual scan, with the store's name and product names removed because I do not publish an identifiable store's report without their permission.
Open a sample report Real counts, real layout, real wording. 275 dead product pages on one Australian roaster.I am a web developer in Sydney. I built the scanner behind this page and ran it against 877 real Australian stores myself, which is where every number on this site comes from. You can read the raw findings for coffee and fashion without giving me anything.
I have been paid for freelance work before — $30,000 across 43 jobs on Upwork at a 4.86 rating. That work was 3D and NFT art, not ecommerce. So it tells you I finish things and clients pay me. It does not tell you I have done this particular job a hundred times, because I have not.
DeadSKU is new, and you would be early. I would rather say that than dress it up. What I can put in front of you instead of a wall of testimonials is the scanner, the 877-store dataset, the method written out, and a sample of the exact deliverable. Judge it on that.
Five only, then it goes back to the prices above. I need the reference more than I need the other half of the money.
Tell me your store address and I will run the scan and reply with the actual numbers, usually the same day. Nothing is charged and nothing is committed at this point — you are asking a question, not placing an order.
Not ready? Just run the free scan No app install, no login to your store, about five seconds. You keep the numbers either way.
